PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Material cost is the largest part of the price of a PP strapping band. This PP strap making machine is configured to run recycled PP flakes, regrind and washed film scrap at 220-250kg/h, turning low cost feedstock into 5-19mm band that still meets normal strapping acceptance standards.

The screw and barrel are matched to recycled material: a wear resistant nitrided barrel, a compression ratio chosen for flake bulk density, and a non-stop screen changer that deals with the higher contamination load of recycled feedstock. An automatic calcium carbonate dosing unit is available to further reduce cost per ton.
