PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OF PP PACKING BELT:
PP strapping,also known as polypropylene strapping—is manufactured through a complex series of processes involving heating, extrusion, stretching, and cooling. Its raw material, polypropylene (PP), is a high-performance thermoplastic synthetic resin; this composition endows PP strapping with numerous outstanding attributes, including the advantages of being lightweight, flexible, and possessing high tensile strength.
The difference between PP strapping belt and PET plastic steel belt:
PP strapping belt is used for strapping some light products, such as cartons, hardware, home appliances, fruits, clothing, and logistics industries.
PET plastic steel belt is used for strapping some heavy products, such as steel, brick factories, glass, chemical fibers, aluminum and other industries.
PET strapping---- Primarily designed for bundling heavy-duty products, offering high tensile strength. Raw materials include mineral water bottles and Sprite bottles.
Main application industries------ Brick factories, aluminum, glass, chemical fiber, steel, and other heavy-duty product bundling.
PP strapping-------- Primarily designed for bundling lightweight products, with lower tensile strength. Raw material: PP polypropylene fiber grade.
Main application industries------- Cardboard box factories, fruit factories, home appliance manufacturers, hardware manufacturers, logistics companies, e-commerce companies, and product bundling.

Packing and Delivery
Rolls are PE film wrapped with a core protector, 10 kg gross per roll, 20 rolls per export pallet, strapped and stretch wrapped for yard handling.

FAQ
Can this replace steel band on brick bundles?
For bundles up to about 200 kg, yes. It removes rust marks, burrs and disposal cost. Above 400 kg or for sharp steel products, PET or steel band remains the safer choice.
Why is the roll shorter than other sizes?
Roll weight is fixed at 9.5 kg net, so a thicker and wider band gives fewer metres. 520 m per roll is normal for 19 x 1.2 mm.
Does the band snap in cold weather?
Standard grade is rated to about -5 degrees C. For cold store work we supply a cold resistant grade rated to -20 degrees C.
Which joint method do you recommend?
Friction weld for battery tools and automatic heads, or a metal seal for manual tensioners. Tell us your tool and we match the surface finish.
