FAQ:
Can a barcode scanner read through this band?
Yes. The band is transparent with a smooth surface, so standard laser and camera scanners read labels underneath. For very reflective print, angle the scanner slightly.
Does clear banding cost more than coloured band?
Transparent grade uses the same resin without masterbatch, so the price is normally the same or slightly lower than coloured band at equal size.
Will the band turn yellow over time?
The formula includes a UV stabiliser for normal indoor and covered storage. For months of direct sunlight, choose the yellow or black grade instead.
What carton weight can 11 mm x 0.45 mm hold?
Up to about 10 kg per carton with two seals. Above that we recommend 12 mm x 0.8 mm or 15 mm band.
