PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OF PET PACKAGING STRAP
PET packaging belt/PET strapping (also known as PET plastic steel strapping) is the preferred eco-friendly packaging material for heavy-duty bundling applications. It holds a prominent position within the packaging industry and is primarily utilized for securing heavy products such as paper goods, steel, aluminum, cast iron, cotton, chemical fiber products, bricks, marble, and more.
RAW MATERIALS
This product is manufactured using PET bottle flakes and crushed PET scraps as primary raw materials. It incorporates food-grade virgin PET material and undergoes a sophisticated high-temperature stretching and shaping process. The result is a strapping material with exceptional toughness that resists splitting or breaking during use, Consequently, it effectively resolves common industry issues associated with traditional strapping—such as susceptibility to breakage, rusting, and difficulty in recycling.

KEY FEATURES:
1. High Tensile Strength:
Tensile strength is close to that of steel tape, 2-3 times that of ordinary PP tape; elongation is only 3%-5%, preventing loosening even after long-term tightening; provides cushioning and resilience against impact, making it less prone to breakage or loosening.
2. Stable Weather and Temperature Resistance:
Applicable temperature range: -40℃ to 120℃; melting point: approximately 260℃; does not soften at high temperatures or crack at low temperatures; waterproof, moisture-proof, UV resistant, and resistant to acid and alkali corrosion; maintains its quality for long-term outdoor/warehouse use.
3. Safe, Environmentally Friendly, and Non-Damaging:
No sharp edges, preventing scratches to goods and personnel; non-toxic, rust-free, and pollution-free, suitable for clean environments such as food and pharmaceutical manufacturing; recyclable and meets green packaging requirements.
4. High Dimensional Accuracy and Strong Joints:
Width error ≤ ±0.3mm, thickness error ≤ ±0.05mm; uniform stress distribution; can be heat-fused/connected with steel buckles, providing high bonding strength and preventing uncoupling.
How does PET strapping demonstrate its "cracking-resistant" properties?
High impact resistance: When subjected to sudden external impacts (such as falling or colliding with goods), PET strapping absorbs energy through its elastic deformation, rather than breaking directly like brittle materials. This is thanks to its excellent toughness.
Fatigue resistance: During transportation, goods experience continuous vibration. PET strapping can withstand these repeated micro-deformations without material fatigue or micro-cracks, thus making it less prone to breakage.
