PET plastic-steel strapping equipment is a specialized production line that converts recycled or virgin polyethylene terephthalate (PET) into high-strength plastic strapping through a process including melting, extrusion, stretching, shaping, and winding. PET plastic-steel strapping is widely used for heavy-duty packaging in industries such as steel, aluminum, papermaking, chemical fiber, and building materials due to its high strength, corrosion resistance, aesthetic appeal, and recyclability.

Features of Finished PET Strapping:
1. High Strength + High Toughness, More Reliable Bundling
Excellent Tensile Strength----Tensile strength reaches 280-350MPa, close to ordinary steel strapping (300-400MPa), capable of withstanding the pressure of long-term stacking of heavy objects, not easily broken, suitable for bundling heavy goods such as steel, pipes, and building materials.
High Elongation at Break---- Elongation at break is approximately 10%-15%, providing good cushioning and impact resistance. It absorbs vibration energy during transportation, preventing loosening due to bumps, especially suitable for long-distance transportation.
Good Creep Resistance: Not easily deformed under long-term stress, maintaining stable bundling tension, solving the problem of easy loosening of PP strapping.

Regarding the Environmental Impact of the Machine:
PET strapping uses safe and environmentally friendly raw materials, making operation and recycling more convenient.
No Sharp Edges: Soft texture, unlike steel strapping, it avoids scratches to operators and will not damage the surface of packaged goods (such as sheets, profiles, cartons, etc.). Lightweight and easy to handle: With a density of only 1.38g/cm³, about 1/6 that of steel strapping, it is lighter for the same length, requiring less effort when manually binding and reducing the load on the equipment when used with a strapping machine.
